Hey GeoCachers! Join those who like to hunt geocaches at the second shelter by the playground and boat ramp for the Chattahoochee Bend Spring Fling. A team challenge will begin at 9:30 a.m. with teams braving a 5-mile course along established trails to find the newest geocaches permitted in the park. 5K Road Kill Run

Stretch your legs and have fun. Meet at the Beach Pavilion to run in our 5k race around the beautiful park. The course is certified and will be professionally timed at the finish line. Join us aloft for a tranquil night in the canopy as you lay in your "tree-boat," viewing stars glimmering like diamonds in the sky. A treetop bivouac camp will be established in our secluded climbing tree for an overnight experience. Participants should bring dinner, breakfast and a sleeping bag. Georgia's public libraries are making it easier than ever for patrons to broaden their horizons outdoors as well as indoors. As part of the "Get Outdoors Georgia" campaign, a valid library card now allows patrons to borrow a Georgia State "ParkPass" and Historic Site pass from their local libraries.
