Night Hike

Reed Bingham State Park - Adel, GA

Meet our ranger at the nature nook to look at our museum before a guided night hike. The nature nook will be open from 7:30-8 pm and the hike will start promptly at 8 pm. Cumberland Island Kayak Trip

Crooked River State Park - St. Marys, GA

A moderately strenuous 2-hour paddle and 1-hour hike to and from the beach will take visitors through the salt marsh to Cumberland Island. Paddlers will return to Crooked River by boat. Enjoy birdwatching and beach combing while exploring the cultural and natural history. Bring lunch and water. Reservations required. $75 tandem boat, $4 national park fee. $5 parking. 912-882-5256.

GeoCaching Spring Fling

Hey GeoCachers! Join those who like to hunt geocaches at the second shelter by the playground and boat ramp for the Chattahoochee Bend Spring Fling. A team challenge will begin at 9:30 a.m. with teams braving a 5-mile course along established trails to find the newest geocaches permitted in the park.
