Hamburg Arts & Crafts FestivalHamburg State Park – Mitchell, GA
Saturday, Sep 18, 2010 to Sunday, Sep 19, 2010 / 9 AM to 5 AM
This annual festival begins at 9 a.m. with a kids fishing rodeo (15 and younger); bring your own gear and bait. At 10 a.m, park visitors can browse arts and crafts booths and food vendors, watch the historic gristmill in operation, and take an old-fashioned hayride. $2 hayrides plus $5 parking. 478-552-2393. Jarrell Plantation Historic Site – Juliette, GA
Saturday, Dec 11, 2010 / 1 PM to 4 PM

Historic Site Seeing Clubs

A new GO Georgia badge has been added to the successful Junior Ranger Program. Kids ages 7 - 14 choose from a list of activities to earn their Gopher badge. The younger ones, ages 7 - 10 must complete 5 activities while those in the older group, ages 11 - 14 must work toward completing 8 activities.
